About the Hindu celebration of Parshuram Jayanti

DESCRIPTION:
Parshuram Jayanti is considered the sixth avatar of Lord Vishnu.
Parashurama is worshipped as mool purush, or founder of the world.
He lived during the last Dvapara Yuga, and is one of the seven immortals of Hindu religion.
He received an axe after doing terrible penance to please Lord Shiva, who, in turn, taught him martial arts.
